My career in oral and maxillofacial surgery, a field that captivated me with its detailed and life-altering surgeries, began after completing my education at Virginia Commonwealth University. Post-graduation, my journey included rigorous training with internships at the Oral Surgical Institute and the Medical College of Georgia, followed by a residency at Temple University Hospital and the University of Kentucky under the mentorship of Dr. Larry Cunningham. This extensive training, combined with a fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery, led to my Board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
With over 15 years of experience, my expertise lies in managing high-risk cases, often receiving referrals for the most challenging scenarios. My approach to patient care is built on a foundation of honesty, transparency, and active patient involvement, ensuring not only technical success but also comfort and trust.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, I also maintain an active role in the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. These affiliations underscore my dedication to professional development and community engagement.
Outside of my professional life, I reside in Center City, Philadelphia, with my wife and son. My hobbies, which include soccer, exploring various coffee cultures, and video gaming, provide a well-rounded balance to my demanding career. Recognized by patients for my unwavering commitment to their well-being, I ensure continuous care and support, particularly post-surgery.
Complementing my practice, I run a monthly free clinic, affirming my belief in accessible healthcare and underscoring my commitment to the community's welfare.
